Documented Vietnam War SEAL issue Tudor Submariner Watch Reference 7928

Tudor 7928 watch worn by a SEAL Team Enlisted Man shown in the photo with the watch...Watch had seen much hard use and wear and during its last service it had been relumed...

"I enlisted in the Navy in 1968 to be in the 1st ever pre-Bud?€?s boot camp class. Passed that and went on to Bud?€?s In Coronado. Graduated in 1969 as a member of Class 50. Interesting point here, when our graduating class was assembled on the "Grinder" for the commencement ceremony, at it?€?s close, we were asked by the base commander, to choose whether we wanted to go to one of the UDT teams, or become a SEAL, by a show of hands. That?€?s how our class was split up. During the training in BUD?€?s were issued our Tudor watches, black face for enlisted and blue faced for officers and these went with us to our next duty station... I did 2 tours in "Nam", and .... The watch on display was issued to me and ran well for another 3 years after my military service...it stopped working and sat in a drawer for something like 25 years till I had it repaired."."

1950s-1970s Rolex Submariner & GMT Master and Tudor Submariner watches always wanted, especially one owner and watches with military history or connection...rusted and busted are fine!
